A food-and-beverage technology startup approaching its third year had been preparing for a seed funding round but felt uncertain about how investor-ready their proposition actually was. The founding team had developed a strong product but was less confident in how clearly the business case held together when examined from the outside.
The Venture Readiness Assessment identified that while the technology and early traction were solid, the financial runway presentation was unclear and the team composition section showed a gap that investors would likely question. The scorecard gave the founders a graded view of each dimension rather than a general assessment.
Following the engagement, the team spent six weeks addressing the specific items flagged in the findings report before approaching investors. Their first formal pitch was well-received, and the founders attributed part of that to having a clearer and more credible answer prepared for the questions they had previously found difficult to address.

The core programmes remained well-regarded by clients, but the delivery model, pricing structure, and channel mix had not kept pace with how the market was changing.
The Business Model Redesign Programme examined each dimension of the model in sequence over ten weeks. Early sessions established that the value proposition itself remained sound — the issue was in how it was packaged, priced, and sold. The redesigned model shifted emphasis toward a retainer-based delivery structure and introduced two new client segments the business had not previously engaged.
The implementation plan developed in the final sessions gave the leadership team a phased approach to the transition, with clear indicators to track at each stage. The business began implementing the new model in January 2026 and reported that the first quarter under the new structure performed meaningfully better than the same period in the prior year.
